Privacy notice
Your church's data stays with your church.
This notice explains what Unyadua collects, what it does not, and who else handles data when you use it.
Last updated 7 November 2026. Unyadua AI is a product of Lotusfort Technologies Limited, Abuja, Nigeria ("we", "us").
In short. The Unyadua program on your church laptop listens and finds verses on that laptop. Your audio is not sent to us. We have no member accounts, no advertising and no tracking. We only receive data when you choose to buy a plan, write sermon notes, or publish notes to your members.
1. The Unyadua program (Windows)
- Audio and speech. Speech recognition runs on your laptop. The sound from your microphone or sound desk is turned into words on the laptop and is not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- Your files. Songs, sermons, settings and the licence key are kept on your laptop. We cannot see them.
- Licence check. Your licence key is checked on your own computer. It does not phone home. The program also keeps a small counter of Scripture listening time on your laptop, to apply your plan's monthly allowance.
- Things the program fetches from the internet, only when you ask.
- The speech model, downloaded once from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). Their servers see your internet address, as with any download.
- Song words, when you use the lyrics search. The song title and artist you type are sent to lrclib.net.
- Sermon notes and publishing, described in section 3.
2. The store (store.unyadua.com): buying or renewing a plan
When you buy or renew, you give us your church name and an email address, and you choose a plan. You pay on Paystack's page. Your card, bank or USSD details go to Paystack, never to us.
- We do not keep our own customer database. Paystack keeps the record of each payment (amount, date, email, church name, plan). Your licence key is calculated from that record, which is how "Find my key" works from your payment reference.
- Your church name is written inside your licence key, so please do not use a private person's name if you do not want it there.
- If email delivery of keys is switched on, we send your key to the email address you gave, using the email service Resend.
- We use your details to issue and renew your licence, to answer your messages, and to meet legal and tax duties. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.
3. Sermon notes and the members page
- Writing notes (optional). If you choose "Write notes", the text of the sermon you select is sent to our notes service (note.unyadua.com), which passes it to an AI service provided by Anthropic to draft notes, then returns the draft to your laptop. We do not store the sermon text and we do not log it. Anthropic handles what it receives under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not send text you are not willing to share with these providers.
- Publishing (optional). The notes you review and choose to publish are stored on our hosting provider so members can read them at members.unyadua.com. Anyone who has your church's link or QR code can read published notes. The files are hard to guess but are not secret. Publish only what you would put on a notice board. You can withdraw a sermon from the Sermons window at any time.
- Members who read notes need no account. The page sets no cookies and has no analytics. The churches a member follows (up to three) are stored only on that member's phone. We do not learn who reads what.
- Because the churches a person follows can reveal their religion, we deliberately keep that list on the phone and not on our servers.
4. Our websites
- unyadua.com has no analytics and sets no cookies. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your internet address when the page opens. The free roster tool runs entirely in your browser; what you type into it is not sent to us.
- store, members, note, privacy and terms pages use their own fonts, set no cookies and have no analytics.
- Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps ordinary server logs (such as internet address, time and page requested) for security and reliability.
5. Who handles data for us
| Company | What for |
|---|---|
| Paystack | Taking payment and keeping the payment record |
| Vercel | Hosting our websites and services |

Some of these companies are outside Nigeria, so data you send through them may be processed in other countries. We choose providers with established security practices.
6. How long we keep things
- Payment records stay with Paystack under its own retention rules and the law.
- Published sermon notes stay until you withdraw them or your church is switched off.
- Sermon text sent for drafting is not kept by us.
- Server logs are kept by Vercel for a short period under its own rules.
7. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how it is used, and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Write to us and we will answer within a reasonable time. To remove a church's published notes quickly, use "Withdraw" in the Sermons window or message us and we will switch the church off.
8. Children and security
Unyadua is made for churches and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's data. We keep secrets such as signing and payment keys only in protected server settings, never in the program or its web pages. No system is perfectly secure, so please use strong passwords on your own computer and keep your licence key within your church.
9. Changes and contact
If we change this notice we will change the date at the top. For questions or requests: live@unyadua.com or WhatsApp +234 813 684 8518.
